Looking for a long term, detail oriented, motivated individual to work as an aquatic technician for a small company in Kona. Applicant must be timely and possess good work ethic. You will be working outdoors in ponds along the Kona coast, as well as growing aquatic plants at our farm. A willingness to get your hands dirty is a must. You will be getting into the ponds, scooping debris, trimming/repotting plants, cleaning filtration, and monitoring fish and water conditions.
There is no previous experience necessary; on the job training is provided. This is a daytime, Monday-Friday position.
Other requirements:
Valid drivers license
High school diploma
Willingness to catch toads
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Critical thinking/troubleshooting
Ability to work independently
