Blue Pacific Management, LLC is a Honolulu based management company that owns and operates the Hawaii franchises for 31 Jamba Juice stores and 31 Jack in the Box restaurants! We are looking for a full-time Information Technology Specialist to assist our IT department with resolving issues related to electronic and computer equipment, performing field work to service, repair, and maintain all electronic, telephone, and computer POS systems within the organization, and hardware and software installation at store locations on Oahu and other islands.
Primary duties include, but not limited to:
Provides customer support to restaurants and main office by resolving issues related to electronic and computer equipment, either by phone or in person
Field work to perform service, repair, and maintenance support, as well as equipment hardware and software installation during field visits on Oahu and other islands
Performs technical and manual labor tasks using power and/or hand tools
Other duties include serving as back up for the IT manager and working directly with operations team or other department heads on special projects
Ideal candidate should have:
At least 2 years previous experience servicing and repairing computer and POS equipment in the field and/or minimum 2 years technical school education
Strong written and verbal communication to problem solve and troubleshoot, diagnose, identify, and repair common computer hardware and software issues
Working knowledge of computer hardware, network, software (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook), and cabling
Experience with POS equipment preferred
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant kitchen environment
Must have strong dedication to customer service
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willing to work on call on holidays and weekends as needed
Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
Clean driving abstract
Use of personal vehicle required and mileage reimbursement provided
