KAI Hawaii, Inc. is seeking an individual to help support our IT department and be part of our Drone team.

Technical Support Duties:

Assist users to resolve workstation hardware and software-related problems and effectively communicate solutions to the end user in person, by email, and/or phone.

Identify, evaluate, and resolve technical issues.

Able to manage and prioritize multiple issues and requests: categorize, assess, and document all resolutions.

Conduct basic troubleshooting of IT environments including OS, networks, applications, and hardware.

Perform maintenance and operational tasks as identified by the Support Manager such as data backups and data storage monitoring.

Help to code and maintain in-house software.

Demonstrate discretion and independent judgment.

Drone Team Duties:

Maintain and operate a fleet of unmanned aircraft.

Willing to obtain an UAS Commercial Pilot’s License.

Help with planning, coordinating, and executing flights to include all aspects of UAS missions, from pre-flight inspections, to flight planning and execution, and post-flight processing of collected data.

Qualifications:

College degree preferred.

Analytical, logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Working knowledge of Cloud-based and desktop-based productivity applications.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Punctual and team player.

Ability to work outdoors under various field conditions.
