Job Summary: Regularly performs duties related to the daily operation of the Community Media Center related to Production services. Provides regular support for Government Access productions at various locations. Including set-up, break-down, connectivity, and operations. Assists with client consultation and training for the safe and effective operation of video production equipment. Supports connectivity with IP performance and broadcasting. Performs other tasks as assigned. Reports to Production Administrator.
Duties and Responsibilities:
ï Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
ï Provides Government Access Production
ï Provide Production and production assistance as assigned
ï Maintain and repair video equipment
ï Support operating procedures and production equipment policies
ï Monitor and service equipment usage including reservations, check-out and check-in
ï Schedule edit bay and studio use
ï Provide technical operation and or assistance with routine studio use and maintenance
ï Works with assigned outreach programs
ï Provide recommendations on maintenance and equipment purchases.
ï Meets company goals and objectives
Required Skills:
ï Understanding and appreciation for Public, Education and Government Access environment and mission
ï Experience in television and video production including editing (Final Cut X preferred)
ï Experience in customer service
ï Experience in computer technology and web functions
ï Experience in data management
ï Written communication skills
ï Ability to think strategically; understand organizational vision and goals and link department assignments to agency needs
ï Able to work flexible hours and work independently
ï Able to lift 40 pounds
