Job Description
We are seeking a technically competent and professional Journeyman Electrician that strives to understand each client's unique needs and objectives and delivers exceptional solutions in the most efficient and professional manner available.
The Journeyman Electrician is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial, industrial, and residential settings works under the supervision and/or direction of a foreman electrician.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications & Responsibilities:
Installs, maintains, and/or troubleshoots basic electrical systems in compliance with the National Electric Code
Demonstrates ability to work without direct supervision
Installs conduit systems, various lighting systems, and basic control systems
Installs motor feeders and makes standard motor connections
Consistently follows workplace safety procedures
Demonstrates ability to layout conduit systems, various lighting systems, basic control systems, and feeders
Must have valid Active Hawaii Journeyman license OR have a current active Electrical Journeyman License in another state and have the ability to obtain a Hawaii License within 3 months of employment
High School Diploma or equivalent, Degree in related field is preferred
Possess a Current Driver License and Reliable Transportation
Ability to demonstrate/conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of ones ability using his or her own drive or initiative.
