Electrician Helper – If you have some experience in the electrical trade and want to be involved in challenging projects involving pumping systems, generators, and industrial machinery, then this position may be an opportunity for you to advance your electrical expertise and to gain a journeyman’s electrician’s license.
Pacific Electro-Mechanical, Inc. is an electrical contracting and technical services firm specializing in water production and delivery; wastewater treatment; power generation; and electrical communications and control systems. We offer consulting, design, fabrication, operation and maintenance, and repair services to customers in Hawaii. We serve 200 government and private sector accounts and employ 23 engineers, technicians, and administrative staff with offices throughout Hawaii. Job Description: Mechanical and electrical skills to assist in the installation, operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and repair of:
Well and booster pumps
Water meters
Chlorination systems
Valves, both manual and automatic
Electrical power and controls
Generator sets
Diesel engines
Electronic communication and SCADA equipment
Process control instrumentation
Boiler controls
Industrial machinery and electrical systems
Experience: Community College degree or 2 to 5 years of related field or shop work
Compensation: $17 to $25 per hour based on experience and credentials
