Busy General Contractor is seeking a Journeyman Carpenter experienced in the following areas:
Adhere to the Company Safety Program at all times.
Read project blueprints and bring any recognizable errors to the attention of the project Superintendent or Foreman.
As directed by the Superintendent or Foreman perform the following tasks using industry standard means and methods:
Layout;
Using a variety of tools to accurately measure, cut and join wood, drywall, fiberglass,
plastic and other building materials
Frame structures and walls and install cabinets, ceilings, doors, floors, fixtures, hardware,
and prefabricated panels.
Build wood and form concrete stairs.
Construct concrete forms.
Must be diverse in all facets of carpentry, including rough and fine finish.
Additional tasks as assigned by the Superintendent or Foreman
Supervise the activities of laborers, carpenter's helpers and apprentices.
Additional Requirements:
Able to lift and carry 50lbs
Personal set of hand tools, including nail bags, drywall finishing tools, metal framing tools
Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Able to read and understand drawings (Blueprints).
Able to use Outlook email
Valid Driver’s License
