HK Construction is currently looking for experienced - reliable Foreman, Laborers, Finish Carpenters and Equipment Operators to join our team. Ideal candidates should be highly reliable, team players, possess good communication skills, represent our reputable company well, and have years of experience in the trade. We offer competitive wages. Must be able to perform essential responsibilities listed below as well as other duties as assigned:

Foreman:

Minimum of 10-15+ years of experience in the residential construction trade

Proven experience as a construction foreman

Capacity to hold oneself accountable

Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans

Coordinate with subcontractors and material suppliers

Produce schedules and supervise crew

Allocate general & daily responsibilities

Work with clients in a respectful and professional manner (i.e. great people skills)

Resolve problems when they arise and find proper solutions

In-depth knowledge of residential construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines

Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met

Monitor expenditure and manage project budgets

Report on progress and communicate with the office

Finish Carpenters:

3-5 years experience.

Experience and proficiency in all aspects of finish carpentry ex: hanging doors, windows, cabinet installation, siding and trim installation.

Knowledge of the building process, use all tools proficiently, follow safety protocol.

Ability to read plans

Ability to layout

Be able to work on a team, and independently as needed.

Laborers:

Set up/Clean up

Ability to lift 100 lbs.

Material handling

Assisting Carpenters

Follow Safety Protocol

Room for growth and learning

Equipment Operators:

Previous experience operating heavy equipment, such as a loader, excavator or similar equipment, as applicable to location.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Maintain good customer relations and interact in a professional manner with all co-workers, customers and subcontractors.

Perform daily routine safety and equipment operation checks pre- and post-shift inspections on assigned equipment.

Reports all accidents, and or safety violations to appropriate authority and in a timely manner

Supports other areas of operation as need.

Class A or B preferred.

Reliable transportation.

Must have valid Drivers License.

Clean DMV

Full time work.
