Maui-based construction and excavation company seeking EXPERIENCED Heavy Equipment Operator, with opportunity to advance skills with training on forest mulching attachments. IMMEDIATE OPENING.
IDEAL CANDIDATE would have around 5-10 years operating experience, ready to learn something new based upon familiar equipment. MUST be professional with good work ethic. Bonuses, company vehicle, 401K available.
Pay negotiable, dependent upon experience.
MUST have at least 5 years operating experience, and able to provide references and/or heavy equipment log hours.
(Additional pay if candidate is CURRENTLY CDL-Licensed).
Equipment operating: Excavators, track loaders, dozers, backhoe, attachments.
Requirements:
- SAFETY ORIENTED. Seeking deliberate, professional skilled operator.
- HDL in good standing, with current medical card and clean traffic abstract.
- Operator must have at least 5 years heavy equipment operating experience.
- Ability to perform daily service, fueling, and maintenance of of equipment. Project locations are occasionally remote.
- MUST have good communication skills and the ability to take direction.
- Maturity and excellent work ethic, required.
- Must be able to work with a team, or independently.
- Excellent safety record required.
- Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
- Willing to perform labor, occasionally, when not operating.
Daily Duties:
Pre-inspect equipment
Set up job perimeters, inspect the site to ensure a safe environment
Communicate potential on-site hazards
Adhere to and understand safety policies and regulations
Perform other duties as assigned
Daily cleaning, fueling, servicing and maintenance of equipment
