Under the direction of the Logistics Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and Warehouse Lead, the Warehouse/Delivery Worker prepares finished goods for delivery, delivers finished products to customers; and receives, transfers and/or stores raw materials, dry goods, supplies, and finished products in appropriate warehouse areas.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Production Line

Prepares deliveries by organizing loads based on approved product orders with appropriate documentation and loading vehicles.

Drives a delivery van, box van, or flatbed truck to deliver products to customers; unloads product orders from the vehicle, hand trucks and/or carries products to the customer within a specified time frame; and obtains appropriate signature from customer to finalize delivery.

Loads and unloads items such as, raw materials and supplies from ocean and air containers.

Loads, moves, and/or stores supplies, finished goods, and other items to designated areas.

Regular attendance is required for the position.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

May determine methods of storage, identification and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits and required space.

Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

High school graduate or GED or equivalent work experience/training.

Valid Hawaii State motor vehicle operator's license and a clean driving abstract.

Six (6) months warehouse/delivery experience.

Must have local commercial driving experience, preferably driving a commercial van and/or box van.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as, but not limited to hand truck, forklift (stand up and sit down) and pallet jack.

Ability to perform basic arithmetic.

Good verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Pushing; pulling; standing; walking; sitting; climbing; bending; forward reaching; twisting; side bending; overhead reach; grasping; use of hands, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; ability to lift 60 lbs., ability to push and pull 100 lbs., and talk or hear.

Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

COMMUNICATION DEMANDS:

Occasional

The position requires talking to outside trade persons/vendors; verbal communication to outside trade persons/vendors; supervising others; written communication to co-workers; training/giving verbal instructions; visiting/working at different worksites.

The position requires talking to co-workers; talking on the telephone; responding to written or verbal requests of co-workers; receiving verbal instruction; reading and receiving written instruction; writing/composing written language.
