Mechanic III (Full Time)

The individual is responsible for the repairs and preventive maintenance for all facilities at the resort.  The role of this position and that of the Engineering department is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our colleagues and our guests to enjoy.What you will be doing:Skill in the use of hand and electrical tools with familiarity of parts and materials for maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment, kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, finishes, masonry, and FF&E.Performs rounds on critical systems and can identify/trouble shoot system deficiencies.Performs preventive maintenance on product and all major equipment.Maintain, clean and organize a properly stocked storeroom by keeping an inventory of supplies, parts and equipment manuals to quickly complete repairsObtains price quotations and fills out requisitions for parts and supplies.Perform drain rodding tasks as needed.Apply necessary precautions with regards to the hotel safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)Be well versed in hotel fire & life safety/emergency proceduresMaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all timesPerform other reasonable duties assigned by the Management of the Hotel
