This position reports directly to the Controller of the company and will manage a range of accounting duties. This role requires a person who can work efficiently, be inquisitive, is detail oriented, and wants to grow with us in the construction industry.
Your Responsibilities:
Assist in production of timely and accurate financial reporting.
Account analysis and reconciliation.
Manage the general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
Bring ideas and a voice for process improvements and changes.
Work with a wonderful support team to provide external customer service while providing internal service to our operations team.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years accounting experience
Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Understanding of Work in Progress Accounting methods is a bonus
Effective communication both orally and written
Ability to self-organize and prioritize multiple objectives and goals throughout the week/month/year to meet deadlines
Strong Microsoft Excel skills are necessary
