General Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements and associated reports
Responsible for ensuring that financial statements are compliant and maintain adequate internal controls
Ensure compliance with legal, tax and other regulatory laws
Work in cooperation with managers for planning initiatives through financial analyses, reports, and recommendations
Continually study cost controls and other expenses to ensure a profit and identify areas for improvement
Analyzes and prepares monthly revenue and margin reports
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve the integrity of financial reporting
Initiate projects to achieve improvements in these areas
Special Projects: Assist the GM/Owner with various special projects as may arise
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Must have experience in analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports and forecasts
Excellent communication skills and a problem solver
A team player who must be able to work with people from various functions
