We are currently seeking a receptionist in the Boise area for the 2019 tax season for a thriving, local business that provides a personal atmosphere and the opportunity to attain professional and personal growth.

This position is full-time between January and April 15 with the opportunity for the right candidate to become part-time or full-time thereafter. Our ideal person is a friendly, organized and polite individual who is able to to provide general office support to 5-7 professionals. An interest in bookkeeping, accounting and tax is preferred as this may be a perfect entry into the accounting/tax world!

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Welcome visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering and directing inquiries

- Answer telephone, screen and direct calls or take and relay messages

- Deal with inquiries from the public and potential clients

- Prepare letters and documents

- Open, sort and distribute mail deliveries

- Deliver mail to post office and deposits to bank as needed

- Maintain the reception, kitchen and facilities

- Maintain office supply inventory and order supplies

- Assemble tax returns and prepare for state and federal filing

- Provide clients with copies of requested documents in accordance with company policy and procedures

- General administrative and clerical support for all staff members as needed

- Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or GED generally required

- Must be over the age of 18

- 2 years experience with customer service

- Proficient use with computers and programs

- General knowledge and experience in professional office setting preferred
