We are seeking a Electro- Mechanical Engineering who will be responsible for researching, plan, and design electromechanical and mechanical products and systems, and coordinates activities involved in prototype fabrication, operation, and testing of electromechanical or mechanical products and systems.

ResponsibilitiesResearches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility ofdesign or application

Interface with others in the MQ organization (i.e.: ProdMgmt, SalesDept) to discuss/review customerrequirements, timelines.

Implement and assist with the design and development of various engine-driven products.

Analyze and document the risk factors of such new designs/modifications.

Interface with suppliers/vendors as required to complete projects.

Study the implementation and available resources which might affect the schedule/budget considerations;communicate this information to the Engineering Manager and/or Sr. Management staff.

Participate in new designs/modifications prototype testing to ensure product design, functionality and ensureproduct meets regulatory standards.

Create Bill-Of-Materials (BOM's) and complete Engineering Change Orders (ECO's). Add documentation to MQEngineering vault.

Create engineering drawings, schematics and other documents as required, to meet Company guidelines.

Support department needs as required and perform other duties that may be assigned.Qualifications Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

BS in an Engineering discipline with 5+ years of work experience in engine-driven applications.

Competent to assume a primary design role for machine control system design and implementation.

Must have a strong background in DC systems with the ability to design, construct, and document wiringschematics.

Thorough knowledge of CANbus communications protocols.

Experience programming with Plus+1, iQAN or similar type machine control systems

Desired Skills:

Strong verbal, communication, time management and organizational skills.

High level of mechanical aptitude and familiarity with diesel and IC engines.

Experience with SAP software is desirable.

Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Zuken E3 software programs

Additional Notes:

Must be willing to travel to other MQ Facilities as necessary, to meet project requirements.Must be willing to work various Trade Shows when required.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and proceduremanuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customersor employees of organization.

Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra, and advanced statistical theory.

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Abilityto deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficultphases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
