Deere & Ault Consultants, Inc. has an opening for a mid to senior-level structural engineer in our Boise, Idaho office. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits. Deere & Ault is a consulting engineering firm that focuses on large-scale water projects, and our structural engineering needs span the following disciplines:
Steel Design Steel buildings, hydraulic structures, large gates and valves, pipe supports, analyzing existing bridges, and the design of other fabricated steel structures per LRFD and other industry standards
Concrete Design Reinforced concrete including both precast and cast-in-place structures, CMU structures, buildings, hydraulic structures, and other types of concrete infrastructure
Applicants should have the following minimum qualifications:
B.S. or M.S. in structural or civil engineering
7 + years of structural engineering design and analysis
Be a registered Professional Engineer with the ability to be registered by comity in Idaho and other western states
Be capable of efficiently designing steel and concrete structures, using sound engineering principles and applicable industry standards
Be proficient with structural design software such as Visual Analysis, RISA, or SAP2000
