Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.The Control Evidencing Data & Analytics Testing (CE-DAT) team within the Data Management, Analytics & Innovation group acts as a center of excellence to drive consistency and standardization across business enablement and infrastructure functions in the areas of Risk and Control. The CE-DAT team has an opening for an Analytic Consultant that will be part of the Evidence Based Control Evaluation (EBCE) Data Support team that will provide risk data analytics, control design, data solutions and business engagements evidence leveraging various internal sources and vendors across Commercial Banking and the Enterprise to ensure Risk and Control data activities are aligned with corporate policies and programs.KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:CE-DAT is responsible for partnering with groups in Commercial Banking to deliver high quality, timely and actionable evidence to support business risk and control testing requirements. The Analytic Consultant role will be responsible for quickly understanding project requirements, identifying gaps in data and/or challenges in obtaining or processing data, writing and/or modifying complex Teradata SQL code, and communicating effectively and efficiently with respective lines of business partners.Other locations within the Wells Fargo footprint will be considered.Employees support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Required Qualifications6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

Familiarity of business processes and systems supporting Commercial Banking or other Wells Fargo business groups.

Ability to foster relationships and effectively collaborate with peers, internal partners and key stakeholders
