This is an at-will position.Example of DutiesThe staff attorney provides legal services regarding the drafting, promulgation, interpretation and application of state and federal statutes, regulations and other law and policies relevant to the Oil and Gas Commission. In addition the position provides legal assistance and representation to the Idaho Department of Lands in administrative and civil actions.Minimum Qualifications

Admission to the Idaho State Bar.

Strong academic qualifications are required.

Relevant legal and technical work experience or undergraduate technical coursework is desirable.

Experience in oil and gas law desirable.

Two years legal experience preferred.
