Our collaborative approach allows us to successfully deliver fully integrated professional services for a broad range of clients and project types worldwide.As the Entry Level Mechanical Facilities Design Engineer working on leading semiconductor plants, you will have the chance to design and specify systems for state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Our unique client relationship will provide you with the opportunity be involved from project scoping, to engineering design and finally through construction execution. You will work with other Jacob’s team members as well as client staff to provide design solutions that accommodate the installation of new semiconductor manufacturing tools, design of new facilities base-build infrastructure and facilities tenant improvement projects.During your time with us, you will engage with clients and subcontractors as you design both wet and dry side mechanical systems including:

Boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps and associated piping.

Air handlers, makeup air handlers and HVAC distribution ducting.

Process systems such as compressed air, central process vacuum and process exhaust treatment systems.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate with internal client customers to define accurate customer requirements.

Perform and document engineering design calculations.

Component and equipment specification for construction.

Validation of existing field conditions.

Coordinate with on-site trades during design and construction.

Act as engineer on small to medium sized projects.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Some related internship or professional experience in a facilities environment
