Position Description
The essential duties of this position will be to ensureonly goodquality product is being produced and packaged. This position will assist with the loading and packaging of product onto pallets to be wrapped and placed into inventory. This position is available during multiple shifts. Strong opportunities for advancement forqualified and responsible candidates. All members work collaboratively and as part of the plant team – other tasks and responsibilities within the plant may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
Follow all safety procedures and participate in the plant’s safety committee.
Understand units of measure
Must be detail, safety and quality orientated.
This position requires a lot of bending, twisting, and reaching while standing; physical capacity to lift up to 75 pounds on an regular basis
Must be able to work quickly, while standing, in an extremely fast faced environment.
Ability to work independently
Willing and able to work overtime and handle varying work hours.
Prior experience working with manufacturing machines, being mechanically inclined, or previous mechanical experience (i.e. capable of recognizing machine issues and irregularities) is a huge plus.
Previous forklift experience/ certification is a plus.
