This means conducting business with integrity, accountability, and professionalism while supporting our global community.The Legal Department of Micron Technology, Inc., a Fortune 500 semiconductor manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced attorney to join the team supporting the Sales and Business Unit Groups as Senior Assistant General Counsel. In this position, the attorney will handle a wide range of complex commercial marketing and sales transactions for Micron’s global business teams. This position will also partner closely with Micron’s business units in the marketing and sale of Micron products and will regularly counsel and advise Micron’s senior leadership teams.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Drafting and negotiating complex sales agreements, including foundry and joint venture-related agreements
Crafting and negotiating product quality and marketing agreements
Providing advice, support, and training to business units, Quality department, sales and marketing team members
Contribute to the Micron litigation team with commercial litigation matters
Some domestic and international travel may be required
Minimum Qualifications:
A Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials is required
10 years of experience in negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreements, including sales and purchase agreements
Experience working in an in-house legal environment is required
Outstanding working and practical knowledge of commercial law and practice
Prior experience in a top-tier law firm and corporate experience in the high-tech industry is highly preferred
Registered and in good standing with at least one State Bar
A strong executive presence in interactions with senior leadership with great interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
