If you are an

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! You will have the responsibility to support users in the order management (OM) area in a global environment. This role is open to any Commercial and Residential Solutions US location.

In this position, you will support business users in Oracle EBS Application Suite R12.2.4. You will continuously work with key business users to maintain, enhance, and augment the core capabilities of the Oracle software and associated integrations and will be responsible for working enhancements, general support, and break-fix in the Oracle OM area. You will collaborate with internal IT as well as the business users to rectify Oracle functional issues and spec out requirements pertaining to business-requested enhancements.

AS AN IT SYSTEMS ANALYST, ORACLE/SR IT SYSTEMS ANALYST, YOU WILL:

  • Respond to user issues in a timely manner to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle application modules.
  • Attend meetings with other IT analysts to gather requirements for new applications, or modifications to existing applications.
  • Collaborate with the business and colleagues to develop Oracle processes and solutions that map to business requirements.
  • Maintain issues/enhancements in our ticket tracking tool (ServiceNow).
  • Prepare MD050s and configurations sheets.
  • Be available for occasional weekend and off-hours on-call support for critical Sev1 issues and scheduled activities.
  • Lead or participate in small Oracle projects.
  • Conduct end-user training upon completion of software.
  • Collaborate with other IT functional teams to develop processes for end customers.
  • Conduct level 2 support for solutions deployed.

You use customer insights to drive and guide the development of new offerings. You have demonstrated the ability to clearly isolate and define problems, effectively evaluate alternative solutions, and make decisions in a timely manner.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology plus three (3) years of experience in business analysis utilizing the Oracle eBusiness systems
  • Five (5) years minimum of IT-related experience
  • Experience leading Oracle Order Management end-to-end implementations and modules (Order Management, Shipping, Advance pricing)
  • Knowledge of Oracle Inventory, Distribution, and Receivable modules, PL/SQL and experience with Oracle EBS 12 or higher
  • Good decision-making ability, ability to operate in ambiguous situations, and high analytical ability to judge the pros-cons of approaches against Emerson's objectives
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels of the company, both verbally and in writing, and demonstrates a courteous, tactful and professional approach
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally to support global implementations

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology plus five (5) years of experience in business analysis utilizing the Oracle eBusiness systems
  • Seven (7) years of IT-related experience
  • Masters Degree, preferred
  • Experience with Oracle EBS 12.2.4 or higher, Oracle Cloud
  • Professional skills with written technical concepts application experience
  • Experience leading problem-solving teams
  • Able to resolve conflict efficiently
  • Ability to work with multiple cross-functional projects
  • Drives process mapping sessions

Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option and Core Hours This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.
