Job Title: Embedded Systems Firmware Engineer

Location: Boise, Idaho

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Print turn on area needs an embedded system firmware engineer with C, Linux, Git, and Embedded System Sofware.
Designs and implements enhancements, updates, and changes Print turn on area. Will be responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of features
Participates as a member of project team of other firmware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.
Will be responsible for development, support, maintenance and implementation of Unit Tests

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum of 6 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong embedded programming, debugging, and analytical skills

• Experience in C, C language is must

• Knowledge of gtest or Unit Test Framework

• Linux (programming for and in the Linux environment)

• Embedded product development

• Knowledge in Memory constraints and other primary low level system knowledge, BIOS etc.

• Basic knowledge on embedded, device driver/protocols

• Working experience with SW Versioning Systems such as Git, Gitlab, Github

• Ability to learn new concepts quickly and put into practice

• Prior experience in Embedded Systems, Firmware Development, Printing and Imaging will be an added advantage
