Camels Crossing is an innovative family-owned & operated restaurant in Hyde Park. Our menu focuses on local ingredients and blends classic and creative techniques.

We are currently hiring for a prep/line cook to join our team. In this role, you will assist with prep work before service, learn the various stations, and help keep the kitchen running smoothly. You will be a part of a small kitchen crew where everyone does a little of everything and supports each other.

Our ideal candidate will have knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations, a passion for food, and the ability to work as part of a team.

Camels Crossing is a 100% chef-driven restaurant, with a commitment to local and sustainable sourcing. We value teamwork, creativity, and a growth mindset. The restaurant is small, with involved owners who work on the floor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to be a part of a positive work environment and learn from an experienced Chef who is willing to teach.

This is a full time (approximately 35 hours/week) position, working mid afternoon until close Tuesday - Saturday. Hourly wage is negotiable based on experience and will be augmented with tips.
