Come join our team at the Hilton Garden Inn in Eagle! We are currently hiring for the position of full-time Maintenance Assistant. This position reports directly to and works with the Maintenance Manager to maintain a zero defect and safe environment. Duties include, but not limited to, preventative maintenance on equipment and rooms (maintaining/replacing in-room PTAC units), complete the daily maintenance procedures checklist, collect all trash from receptacles around the property and grounds, patrol the grounds and building daily to ensure the property and landscaping are in good condition (reporting any deficiencies to the manager), fix any items requested on maintenance work orders and document all work completed. In addition, responsibilities include snow/ice removal (seasonal), monitoring pool chemicals, changing light bulbs, driving the hotel shuttle and completing projects as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Our ideal candidate with all have some maintenance experience, although we are willing to train the right candidate. Good time management skills, prioritizing of tasks and attention to detail are important. Being in the hospitality industry, strong customer service skills are a must. You must be able to, at times, work independently, as well as working as a team to accomplish tasks.
