S.T.A.R.R. Family Behavioral Health is seeking several qualified and passionate mental health therapists. We are hiring for both our Boise and Nampa locations; part-time positions to grow into full-time positions. Candidates with experience working with children and families will have preference. Clinicians will provide mental health services to a variety of clients. This individual will align with our mission and values, to make a difference for the clients we serve, community members, and the team within the organization.

Qualifications include: Masters degree in social work, counseling, or another aligned field. Licensed by the Idaho Board of Occupational Licenses in the field of mental health (i.e. LCSW, LCPC, LMSW, LPC, LMFT). Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

An understanding of Optum/Medicaid and the YES system of care is preferred.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Facilitates completion of all initial individualized psychotherapy assessments and treatment plans. Completes 90 day progress reviews and annual psychotherapy treatment plans. Ensures delivery of services as identified in the psychotherapy treatment plan. Typical services may include but are not limited to: providing individual/group/family therapy, coordinating/collaborating with identified treatment team members, reporting issues of legal, ethical or safety to the proper channels and providing emergency/crisis psychotherapy services. Documents all provided psychotherapy services in client's clinic record as established by insurance standards and rules for governing medical assistance programs and as may be required by private insurance. Typical tasks include, but may not be limited to: accurate documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, periodic reviews and termination summaries. Collaborates routinely with Program Director, Owner, and Clinical Supervisor, CBRS/Case Management providers, Medication Managers, clients and other key personnel as identified as essential to client care. Demonstrates competence/knowledge with regards and implementation of both effective psychological theories and clinical practice. Attends collaborative psychotherapy service meetings to ensure consistency of service delivery and related documentation. Attends and participates in meetings and trainings designed to improve staff knowledge, skills, and morale. Maintains current professional licensure within field of practice to the standards/requirements as set by the Bureau of Occupational Licenses. Interacts with Mental Health Authority personnel, surveyors and other regulatory/consultant staff as needed to maintain high quality of service delivery. Maintains confidentiality of all client documents, files and communication in written, electronic and/or verbal form. Provide the best care possible.
