Growing medical practice in Boise is looking for a full-time Phlebotomist (MA experience/certification a plus) with at least two years’ experience. Must be able to start immediately.

Applicants need to be detail oriented, compassionate, and have the ability to work independently. Must be flexible and willing to take on new tasks as requested. Some administrative work will be required (light reception duties, patient screening, etc.), so experience in these areas is required.

This position has a lot of room for growth and we are looking for someone who is compassionate, motivated, and has a desire to grow with the company.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ability to draw blood on adults and children, as well as difficult to find veins

- Competency in packaging labs and pathology for pick up required.

- Keep laboratory fully stocked, clean and follow guidelines and national standards

- Prepare exam rooms for patient use, ensuring that all supplies and instruments are stocked.

- Review messages from providers daily and call patients with lab results, etc.

- Ability to gives injections (if necessary)

- Ability to perform EKG’s a plus

- Answer patient calls and give results as directed by provider.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements and Qualifications:

- Phlebotomy certificate and at least two year’s experience required.

- If a Certified Medical Assistant, must be a graduate of an accredited MA Program & maintain certification.

- The applicant must have at least two years’ experience in a clinical setting.

- Must have excellent communication skills and display professional appearance.

- Must have experience working in a fast-paced environment.

- Must maintain confidentiality in all clinical activities and communication.

- Must be responsible and accountable for his/her actions and competence.

- Reliable and able to focus on details, process work accurately/timely with excellent follow up

- Previous experience with EMR a plus

- Must be able to multi-task

- Reliable transportation

- Clean background check and driving record

Benefits: Starting pay @ $13.00-$15/hr. No benefits offered at this time. PTO time is offered.
