3000 acre alfalfa farm needs a crew supervisor to assist owner. Need someone that can assist supervising a 10 man crew.
Experience operating swathers, rakes and 4x4 balers is desirable Some mechanical experience would be helpful. Communication skills are paramount.
The supervisor would be responsible for directing crews to various fields and ensure that equipment is set up properly.
The supervisor would be responsible for checking the condition of the alfalfa to ensure that it is dry enough for raking or baling.
Supervisor would be responsible for ensuring that the maintenance is done when required and reporting needed repairs. (Possibly conducting repairs)
There is considerable road travel to fields.
The hours are long and days off vary.
Fields are in Nampa, Middleton,Marsing, Notus, Wilder, and Murphy.
Wages will be negotiated.
