The Drivers Helper will ride behind a heavy-duty garbage truck with rear end load lift attachment.
Helpers are responsible for providing the pick-up service of containers filled with waste or recyclable material.
Containers may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and at times require helpers to maneuver wheeled containers to a pick-up stage area.
The requirements:
Required to use arm, hand, finger, and leg.
Required to apply physical effort in handling objects more than 100 pounds frequently.
Requires pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and lifting up to 100 lbs.
Normal setting for this job is outdoors
Will be exposed to a physical environment, which involves dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes.
Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customers location clean and free of debris.
Positions and returns containers on the customers property in a manner, and making sure containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
Shifts:
Start time 6:30 AM no ending time. We are looking for someone with flexible schedule.
