Our package delivery company provides service under a contract with FedEx Ground, and we are in need of quality delivery drivers to join our team.
This is a WEEKEND position, hours 7:30am-5:30pm (slightly flexible). Pay is $170/day. Immediate start date if possible. Saturday AND Sunday preferred.
This job involves lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25-45 lbs. You must have excellent customer service skills as well as excellent driving ability including the capacity to operate a delivery truck equipped with either manual or automatic transmission.
Must Meet The Following Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age with a High school diploma / GED
Must have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, must have a clean background and criminal record.
Ability to lift 75 lbs. and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate safety equipment or assistance.
Must pass DOT medical examination, drug screening, and criminal background checks.
Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to perform vigorous work in sometimes stressful situations.
One year of verifiable commercial driving/delivery experience within the past 3 years. However, excellent candidates without the one year commercial driving experience may be considered for our Entry Level Driving Program. Please apply if you meet other requirements.
