This is not a sales position. And we are not doing Solar I'm looking for 3 people to join our team to help educate homeowners on the incentive programs available for them to make energy effeciency upgrades or their home and get caught up to current building codes. Right now in Idaho, the average home qualifies for $1,5000 to use for weatherization services like Insulation, Duct Sealing, Air Sealing, Attic Ventilation and other weatherization services.
Idaho just recently started enforcing strict building codes for energy effeciency. We have never had strict codes for air sealing around the building envelope, insulation depth, or ventilation for the attic space. That has all changed now Because our state has so many homes that are NOT up to current building code, Idaho received millions of federal dollars to create incentive programs to encourage homeowners to get weatherization services done to make homes more energy effecient.
In order for homeowners to qualify, they need to have a full home energy audit. This includes a negative pressure test (air leakage test) on the envelope, using infrared cameras ($300 Service at ZERO cost to the homeowner) to pin point problem areas in the home and eliminate the guess work. After the audit we are able to show homeowners what services they qualify for and exactly how much money they will receive to help pay for the services. The average home gets 70% of the job cost paid for.
Your job is to assist in setting up these home energy audits. So again, your not selling anything, your educating homeowners on the incentives and are able to set them up for a free home energy audit so we can find out if they qualify for the state/federal incentives.
I currently have 5 appointment setters working 20 hours a week. The average rep is making $800-$1,200 per week and my highest earning rep Quinn Cota, 22 years old, started in January and has already made $50,000 this year.
You will start out at $20 an hour plus $20 for every energy audit you set up. Quinn sets an average of 4-5 per hour and my lowest setter is doing 1 per hour. If you have any kind of people skills, then this job is definitely for you.
