Ours is a small mainline congregation near Fruitland, ID. We are looking for someone who can lead us in worship each Sunday morning, either through playing an instrument or singing. We have no particular music style in mind at the moment, so anyone with ability is welcome to apply. The ideal hire will be friendly, flexible and able to teach new songs and lead the congregation in a meaningful experience of sacred music.
The people in this congregation are genuinely friendly, welcoming and progressive. There is a wide age range in the church. The people are open to new experiences and they desire to have a wider impact on the community than what is currently the case.
Excluding drive time to the church, the number of weekly hours for this position would likely be 2-4. We will take several factors into consideration when determining compensation, including how far you travel, your level of skill and your level of experience. We are committed to offering just compensation to you.
No specific start date has been set, but you would likely start early in 2020. Experience is not required in order to be considered.
