Sign Shop Pre-Production Coordinator

Idaho, Boise, 83701 Boise USA

Vacancy expired!

Advanced Sign is a rapidly growing sign company with an opportunity to not just fabricate signs and related products, but to also reach new heights as we take on sign opportunities far and wide. If you are looking for a career opportunity, not just a job but a company and team to build and grow with, then look no further. You’ll want to be on board when we move into our brand new state-of-the-art 30,000 square foot production facility this summer. You’ll want to be part of the team that sees this company into the next stages of its expansion. You’ll want to represent this atypical company that delivers quality and custom sign products to customers world-wide while loving what we do. You’ll want to be in line for the ice cream truck that sets up in our parking lot from time to time. You’ll want to be here on our team, so let’s get going!

The ideal candidate will have:

The desire to learn and be trained

A keen eye for detail

Ability to follow established procedures

Punctuality

Team player attitude

Effective communication skills

Strong work ethic

Ability to work well under pressure/work well in a fast-paced environment

Excellent mechanical and organizational skills

Ability to adapt and work wherever needed

A love of signs! We love what we do, we love our customers, and we love making signs! If you love signs too, we should talk.

Responsibilities include:

Checking all website and internal orders for machineability to feed our lasers, routers, waterjet and other machines. They have strict diets so we need to make sure they are getting well balanced, nutritional orders.

Programing mounting hardware to ensure none of our signage is able to escape once it has been installed.

Printing, labeling and cutting mounting hardware templates to ensure signage installation is clear and concise. We are sign makers not drywall installers so it is better we don’t put holes in walls we can’t fix.

Being kind, flexible, having common sense and willing to learn and ask questions as well as collaborate with others to find the best way. There is a lot to learn with this position. It’s not rocket science but being a rocket technician helps.

Being able to work solo, but also be part of a team. If you love Audiobooks and Podcasts this position could be a great fit.

Position does require early morning shifts, ideally starting no later than 7am. The good news is you can get the worm and we can have you out of here most days by 3pm.

We are not looking for Picasso but we strive to deliver Picasso to our customer so we need someone that sort of lives down the street from him.

Checking and maintaining machinery daily to ensure functionality

Other duties as assigned, including assisting team members with various other tasks

At Advanced Sign every detail matters, every sign matters, every letter matters, and every person matters. If this opportunity excites you, please email your resume through Craigslist.
