Welders can earn up to $2.00 more an hour in their first year of employment with good attendance and performance at 90, 180 and 365 days.

BigTex Welders are responsible for constructing a wide variety of trailers in a fast paced manufacturing environment! Ideal candidates must be able to read a tape measure accurately, read blueprints, use grinders, buffers, hand torches, have good dexterity and judgment, and are detail oriented. Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in MIG oscillation welding in a vertical and horizontal fashion. Familiarity with mechanical drawing, physics, chemistry, and metallurgy are also advantageous.
