We are seeking a driven, hands on Quality Assurance Technician to join our team that specializes in engineered materials and coating solutions for semiconductor applications worldwide.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPart inspection to include: layout, in process, final, and receiving using all types of inspection devices and visual observation.Work with production personnel to help resolve any quality related issues.Complete and maintain accurate testing and inspection records of all parts.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Approves finished products by confirming specification: conducting visual and measurement test; returning products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement.Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations. Cross-train in other position within the plant, as needed.Basic SkillsExtremely detail oriented with strong record-keeping and excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsMicrosoft Word & ExcelAbility to speak, read, write and follow written or verbal instruction in EnglishSelf-motivated and able to work with minimal supervisionEducation & Experience RequirementsA high school diploma or equivalent1 3 years experience a plusOr demonstrated skills required to perform the jobThis is a temp-to-hire position; the goal is to convert temps by 6 months. Once converted you will be eligible for a great benefit package available the first of the month.
