Overview:
We are hiring temporary, part-time canvassers for the month of April to go door-to-door and educate voters about the proposed downtown, main library project. Canvassers will be located in Boise.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and will be excited about talking to their neighbors about community issues. The position requires a smartphone and proficiency in using the device.
Schedule:
The campaign will be running canvassing shifts 6 days a week. Canvassers will get to choose their own shift schedule, and can work up to 20 hours per week. Evening availability is highly preferred.
Job responsibilities:
Conduct door-to-door voter contact efforts.
Participate in all required trainings.
Conduct any follow-up voter contact efforts assigned.
Compensation:
Salary will start at $15 and canvassers will be paid a lump sum for their work at the end of the month.
