Kiefer Automotive Group is currently seeking a full time Deal Clerk to join our team at Treasure Valley Subaru.
The Deal Clerk is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying and distributing deal paperwork for the Dealership; posting and reconciling store accounting. Accurately records the sale, profit and commissions payable on all sold units.
Performs general accounting functions for the Dealership. Accurately records record of sale, profit and commissions payable on sold units.
Ideal candidate will have Dealertrack experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Bill all new and used car deal and post into accounting; process posting jackets.
Receipt all monies for new and used car deals.
Organize paperwok in each deal; check for completeness (signatures, verify VIN etc).
Process pay-off checks for trade-ins and mail to appropriate financial institution in a timely manner.
Generate flooring and posting reports for reconciliation for accounts.
Inventory control; assists with dealer trades and wholesales.
Assists with administrative functions (filing, data entry etc.)
Vehicle receivables, documenting payment due from customer and follow up on payments.
Report new vehicles sold with each manufacturer in a timely manner.
Enroll new factory service contracts and process cancellations.
Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work productively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
Post secondary coursework in accounting highly desireable.
The ideal candidate will have dealertrack experience.
Prior experience in a similiar role highly preferred.
