Anser Charter School is currently hiring for a Front Office Manager for next school year. The position will begin August 19th, 2019. The Front Office Manager works in a fast paced front office where they support students, parents, teachers and staff . As part of the Administrative team, the Front Office Manager performs many duties inlcuding, answering phones, sending school communications, supporting students with minor first aid and medication needs, welcoming and supporting parent volunteers, ordering all supplies, maintainig office equipment, scheduling meetings, receiving and recording payments, assisting with the lottery, student records, mailings, document production and a variety of other tasks.
The ideal candidate thrives in a busy environment where they work collaboratively with others. They are comfortable solving problems as they arise, prioritizing among competing demands, pitching in where needed and meeting deadlines despite distractions. They value children and are able to support students during challenging times, cheerlead them when they doubt themselves and hold them accountable to Anser's high character expectations to treat others with compassion and respect.
The ideal candidate enjoys learning and will continue to look for ways to improve systems and will be open to learning from and teaching others. They are proficient in Word, Excel, Google applications, and have the willingness and ability to learn web based software such as Infinite Campus, Square and Mailchimp.
The Front Office Manager works 38 weeks a year, beginning mid August and ending in early June. Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break and the majority of Summer Break are all time off for the Front Office Manager. The general work hours are Monday-Friday from 7:40am- 4:10pm. Anser offers health/dental insurance, paid sick leave, and participation in the PERSI state retirement system.
