Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Local wholesale manufacturer is seeking a full-time Shipping and Receiving Clerk. . The ideal candidate would possess the desire to grow with the company, as there is the potential to move up to other positions.
We are looking for a self-starter who can execute a task from start to finish with little supervision and exhibits a positive go-getter attitude. Applicants must be extremely detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and carry themselves professionally when it comes to interacting with clients and fellow employees.
Heavy lifting of camera equipment is a large part of the job so applicants must have the physical strength and stamina needed. We are seeking those who have a strong work ethic, can work well under high-pressure scenarios, are able to multitask and switch gears accordingly throughout the day, and have the ability to handle daily matters with a sense of urgency.
Hours are flexible but ideal candidate will work 25-35 hours on M-F from 10a-6pm. Specific schedule will be finalized with hired candidate.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Outbound shipping (UPS, USPS)
Inbound receiving (logging received goods, counting them, etc)
Monthly inventory
Invoicing (quickbooks other bookkeeping experience a plus)
Cleaning/Organization (not janitorial, but keeping warehouse clean and organized)
Salary is $12-$14/hour, with full benefits with generous employer contribution after a 60-day trial period and potential for raises and advancement.
