Ceramica, Boise's oldest and only paint your own pottery studio, is looking to immediately hire several outstanding employees to provide fabulous, fun service to our customers.
Retail and customer service experience required; this is NOT a pottery painting job. Restaurant experience is most relevant to this position.
Must be able to jump right in and hit the ground running with minimal training. Someone who "gets it".
Must be punctual, RELIABLE, conscientious, detail oriented, have fabulous spelling skills, AWARENESS, and a GREAT attitude (including when cleaning - we wash a lot of palettes and brushes)!
Must be outgoing, great with kids and thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.
Ability to be on feet and exude high energy for hours on end is needed.
Being artistic or crafty is helpful but not necessary.
A background in pottery and ceramics is helpful but not necessary.
Experience working with glazes is a plus.
Minimal schedule limitations please. It's retail - that means you will always work at least one weekend shift and work on our busiest days which include school breaks and holiday season. Days off may vary each week.
This is a part-time position to start with potential for more hours and advancement opportunities for the right person. Ownership of your job, which includes amazing customer service and the cleanliness and operations of the studio portion of the business, is expected. We are a company of high expectations and growth.
