Position: BI Dashboard Specialist Location: Boise, ID Bill Rate: $85-$120 Length: 12 month Visa authorization: W2 only (US Citizen) Shift:8-5 Reason: Growth/ Project

Upon conversion: Contract-to-hire if performance meets standards. COMPANY: Our client is one of the fastest growing IT companies in the State of Idaho. They were recently acquired by a larger corporation and are growing their office by 25-30%. They are one of the industry leaders in financial fraud detection.

OVERVIEW: This Data Visualization role inside the Data & Analytics function will own creation of compelling reports for customers using our next generation data mart.

DAY TO DAY:
  • Create Sigma dashboards and serve as Subject Matter Expert for Sigma tools
  • Analyze customers' data and business use cases to create custom reports and present in a visually appealing manner
  • Build and design dashboards and actionable reports for customers to quickly access critical insights into their business
  • Understand the data and how it is structured in order to analyze trends and address customer questions
  • Build internal reports for stakeholders such as accounting, sales, and customer success to increase their effectiveness in making data-driven decisions
  • Collaborate with Data Warehouse team to increase performance of report generation and enhance presentation of data

EXPERIENCE:
  • 2+ years experience building reports, dashboards, etc. with a BI tool (e.g. Sigma, Tableau, Looker)
  • 2+ years experience and proficiency with SQL including complex SQL and SQL tuning experience
  • Good knowledge of MPP data warehouse databases (e.g., Snowflake)
  • Good knowledge of dimensional database models
  • Ability to extract requirements from users and convert them into working prototypes
  • Ability to synthesize multiple requests into a coherent user experience
  • Love for data and using data to tell compelling stories that drive improvement
  • Experience with report design or other UI design (preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a plus
