Job Description:
Full-Time Position
Responsible for all aspects of programming: music, scheduling, logs, imaging, contesting.
Develop and oversee all promotional and contest initiatives of the stations.
Maintain accurate records of contestants and ensure compliance with FCC regulations and law.
Coordinate with other departments involved in production of promotions and remotes.
Coordinate all prizes and winners and make sure prizes are available for front desk distribution.
Represent station at community events and promotions.
Maintain a public file demonstrating ways the station has served the community interests.
Tools and Equipment Used: Music Master, WideOrbit, Adobe Audition, Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc), Google Suites (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive, etc), Radio Traffic/Marketron (will train), vCreative (will train), copy machine, scanner, and fax machine.
Desired Minimum Requirements
Minimum of 2 years work experience in radio programming for Regional Mexican Formats or other General Market Formats, broadcast marketing, public relations or a related field. A combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge and experience to perform the work for this position, including proficient typing, computer, communication, and public relations skills; as well as working in an accurate and timely manner. Knowledge of all FCC rules and regulations related to broadcast marketing.
