We have a Material Take-Off position available. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately determining and documenting the materials required for construction projects from blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, mathematical skills, an understanding of construction materials.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze construction plans, specifications, and blueprints
Perform quantity take-offs for all materials required for the project (concrete, framing, drywall)
Prepare accurate material take-off sheets and track man hours
Assist in pricing materials and reviewing supplier quotations
Qualifications:
Good Computer skills and Microsoft Excel experience is required.
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in construction management, architecture, or a related field is a plus.
1+ years of experience in material take-offs or a related construction role.
Strong understanding of construction materials and processes.
Proficient in reading blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
Proficiency with construction estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
