Job Description
Blue Sky Construction LLC has immediate openings for experienced equipment operators, mainly in the Boise area. This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of various types of construction equipment including, but not limited to Loaders, Back Hoes, Track Hoes, Excavators, Dozers, Blades, Haul Trucks, Water Trucks, and etc.
We are a drug-free work environment requiring pre-employment and random drug testing throughout employment.
Our typical work hours are 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Saturday, but this may differ from time to time due to job constraints. We pay weekly via direct deposit.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Safely and efficiently operate equipment.
Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading.
Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
Perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to supervisor.
Keep time and material records.
Knowledge of and following trenching and shoring standards.
Knowledge of aggregate sizes and classifications.
Knowledge of weight requirements of loads.
Travel from interstate highway to rural dirt roads from various locations.
May assist Laborer at various job sites as needed, including physical tasks.
Observe hand signals, markings, and/or grade stakes while operating equipment.
Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
Other duties assigned as needed.
