Steel Erectors/Iron Workers

We are looking for experienced, reliable Steel Erectors / Iron Workers. We are looking for connectors and fabricators/welders alike. Applicants should be able-bodied, have dependable transportation, and available to work over time as needed. This position is with a reputable local company and intends to be a temp to hire position based on work performance.

Requirements:

You must be able to pass a drug test, physical exam and orientation prior to work start

Posses 1-4 years exp in Structural Steel Erection / Iron Work field

Have basic tools to perform job (tool list provided) - wrenches + sockets, hammers, pins, clamps, reamers/holders. Fall protection will be furnished if needed. You must provide all other PPE.

Layout and install work in a safe, efficient, quality manner

Comfortable working in the elements outside

Comfortable working in an elevated work environment several stories above

Looking for applicants with experience setting, rigging, connecting, welding, sheeting, roofing of commercial and industrial buildings

Fabrication experience is a bonus as is any welding certifications

Ability to read blue prints & shop drawings a plus

Must have a valid Driver's License

Must have acceptable certs or be willing to get certified internally.
