Job Description
We are looking for owner operators to join our growing family business to support our existing lanes and to expand to new customers outside of the Pacific Northwest. We work hard to ensure you are always moving and that you stay profitable.
Requirements
All owner operator truck drivers require a commercial driver's license (CDL, Class A in Washington) with a clean drivers abstract. Owner operators must own and operate their own highway tractor vehicle and keep it in good repair. Drivers must be professional and courteous and have a minimum of 2 years driving experience. Drivers must also pass random drug and alcohol tests while on the job in order to maintain a good standing.
Duties
Owner operators are responsible for safely driving large cargo trucks over long distances while adhering to all traffic laws. They are also involved with loading and unloading cargo, planning routes, interacting with dispatchers and logging all trucking activities. Drivers monitor wear and tear and maintain their rigs and equipment to ensure optimum functionality. Owner operators must perform business-related duties as well, establishing a solid pipeline of work to maximize profitability. Other business duties include accounting responsibilities, such as submitting tax information and calculating business expenses to determine net income.
Pay and Outlook
Owners operators typically make more money than employed company drivers. We calculate our owner operators average pay to be 80,000 per year after dispatch fees, fuel deduction, insurance premiums, and basic truck payment. They are paid by the revenue streams they generate, therefore, they are in control of their own livelihoods and can choose for themselves how much they want to work or do not want to work.
What We Provide
All of our management and dispatch staff are courteous and respectful. We make payments by direct deposit to your bank account on the middle and end of every month. Your pay statements are emailed at the end of each month. Fuel cards are provided at no charge. We finance your insurance and we can help you out with any additional financing you may need. We have driver recognition and safety award programs and we provide safety training to keep our drivers up to date with the ever changing DOT regulations.

Salary: $65,000.00 to $110,000.00 /year
