Human Supports of Idaho, a partner practice of Behavioral Health Solutions, is seeking Behavioral Health Counselors specializing in mental health or substance use disorder treatment. The objective for this position is to provide treatment services for adults and/or children experiencing mental health issues and substance use disorders. These services are in an outpatient setting and intended to assist the client in obtaining and implementing skills for coping with issues such as trauma, familial and/or peer conflict, mental health disorders, substance abuse, grief and loss, relational issues, and community re-engagement.Joining Human Supports of Idaho means joining a team of providers who want to make a change in their community, have the drive to fulfill those goals, and the skills to foster recovery. HSI is growing and we are looking for people who are ready to make an impact in the lives of others.Job DutiesCreate a safe and trusting space in order to build rapport with participants and their designated supports.

Complete various assessments, treatment plans, reviews, and progress notes in a timely manner.

Effectively collaborate and communicate with treatment providers and staff.

Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written communication.

Adhere to HSI policies and procedures as well as the NASW Code of Ethics.

Effectively navigate Electronic Health Record systems (inSync Healthcare Solutions).

RequirementsA current, unrestricted license from the State of Idaho as an LCSW. LMSW, LPC, LCPC, or LMFT.

Pass a Health & Welfare Enhanced criminal history background check.

Computer literate and able to meet deadlines.

Positive, organized, self-driven attitude.

Preferred SkillsPrevious training and experience working with SPMI and/or SUD populations.

Skilled in diagnosing, treatment planning, and implementation.

Hold a certification or specialty beyond their license.

Familiarity with EHR systems.

Spanish language fluency.

BenefitsFinancial BenefitsOur compensation practices are flexible. In general, salaries range between $40,000 and $90,000 depending on licensure and hours billed but we may consider salary alternative, hourly or billable hour compensation arrangements based on need and/or skill.
