Job SummaryThe Coeur d'Alene Resort's Conference Services Manager serves as a critical liaison between the event planner and our property. These individuals are charged with properly understanding and communicating the expectations of meeting and event planners to The Resort's staff for successful execution. This person will work with a wide range of events ranging in size from 10 to 1,000 people and must possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills while working in a fast-paced team environment. Compensation$40-$55k / year + Incentives Essential FunctionsWork with meeting and event planners to understand the goals and desired results of upcoming, contracted events while then communicating these expectations to Resort team members across all departments for successful execution. The required actions will include (but not be limited to) meeting room set-up and design, selecting menu items, arranging Audio/Video and staging needs, resource rental items, transportation, planned activities and such.

Secure and properly manage The Resort's inventory of meeting and event space (both indoor and outdoor).

Create all event-related information in The Resort's database management system (Salesforce/Delphi) and group resume formats, as well as diagrams, etc.

Cultivate positive, professional relationships with meeting and event planners.

Ensure proper set-up and tear-down of meeting and event space. Work with The Resort's Audio/Video Team to secure, stay and properly utilize this profit center's services. Work with the Director of Catering & Conference Services and Food & Beverage Team when determining menu selections and pricing.

Monitor events and address unexpected problems as they arise to make sure that the functions go as planned.

Ability to work at a fast pace.

Schedule is Monday-Friday days with evenings, weekends and holidays as required to facilitate Group needs

Job Requirements Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred

Minimum of two year of F&B or Catering experience

Good Verbal, Listening and Written Communication, Time Management skills are important

Must be goal oriented with the ability to meet deadlines

Must be able to work individually and in a team environment
