CRI Advantage is looking for Software Quality Assurance Tester to work on a 2-year project for our state client. Under the guidance of a lead, you will perform the following activities:
- Author test plans and test cases
- Interview subject matter experts and review technical design documents to determine range and content of test cases
- Analyze risk to determine appropriate testing coverage
- Execute test cases for functional and non-functional testing
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing
- Participate in triage and prioritization meetings
- Review technical design documentation and interview internal subject matter experts to determine range and extent of test cases and gather appropriate test case supporting data
- Author comprehensive suite of functional test cases
- Author comprehensive suite of UAT test cases
- Participate in both the User Acceptance and System testing phases
- Work with project management to understand the business strategy, goals, and objectives to ensure successful system implementation
- Coordinate development of test plans and test cases with the business analysts and project manager
RequirementsExperience: Two plus years of experienceEducation: Four (4) year college degree or equivalent technical studyDescription of skills and knowledge include: - Knowledge of software testing methodologies
- Experience interpreting analysis and design documents for the purpose of creating test cases
- Experience using Microsoft Test Manager for requirements management, test case management, and bug management
- Experience comparing system generated data via manual and automated methods
- Experience communicating with business and subject matter experts to develop realistic test cases
- Experience developing user acceptance and functional test cases
- Experience developing time estimates and schedule for work
- Basic working knowledge of accounting concepts preferred
- Basic working knowledge of forestry terminology and concepts preferred
