Dillon Toyota Lift (DTL) is the authorized Toyota forklift dealer in Utah and Idaho. DTL is a full-service provider of new and used forklifts, rentals, parts, lift truck operator training, warehousing and racking services. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Field Service Technician in our Idaho Falls, ID location.

Essential Job Duties:
ï§ Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently.
ï§ Perform routine maintenance, repairs and service on industrial equipment at customer site.
ï§ Conduct computer-based diagnostics on forklifts and other products.
ï§ Ability to convey product knowledge and provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
ï§ Consult customers on the benefits of OEM parts and planned maintenance plans.
ï§ Build long-term working relationships with assigned customers and expand customer base by attracting new customers.
ï§ Maintain regular communication with service managers, parts department, and dispatchers to expedite repairs and service.
ï§ Maintain timely and accurate accounting of labor hours, work orders, parts used for inventory, and other customer-related paperwork.
ï§ Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
ï§ Complete required training certifications.
Qualifications:
ï§ High school diploma or equivalent. Prefer vocational training as a mechanic.
ï§ Require over five years of experience as a mechanic or technician in the industry. Prefer certification at Journeyman level.
ï§ Or any combination of education and experience that is necessary to perform essential duties.
ï§ Basic computer skills.
ï§ Expert knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems, transmissions, engines, gas and LP systems.
ï§ Effectively interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
ï§ Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
ï§ Demonstrate reliable attendance, integrity, and strong work ethic.
ï§ Strength to lift up to 75 lbs, pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, and kneeling required.
ï§ Clean driving record, willing to submit to pre-employment background check and drug screen.
